Apply Online for the Nigerian Civil Defense Force Recruitment 2022/2023 – Link to Apply The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is currently soliciting applications from suitably qualified candidates for full-time appointment in order to fill existing vacancies in the following positions within the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The NSCDC is only accepting applicants who have completed their SSCE, National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), or Trade Certificate. This particular recruitment does not accept applications from graduates (both degree and HND levels).

The NSCDC will begin accepting applications for employment on Monday, December 12th, 2022, and will stop doing so within two (2) weeks of the publication date of this announcement.

EXPECTATIONS CONCERNING THE NSCDC RECRUITMENT IN 2023

Applicants have to prove that they were born in Nigeria.

Applicants are expected to have the necessary skills and experience. After the recruitment process is over, we will not take into consideration any certificates or qualifications that were not presented and accepted at the recruitment centre.

Applicants are required to provide a Certificate of Medical Fitness from any government hospital that is recognised in their respective country.

Applicants are required to have impeccable morals and must not have been convicted of any crimes in order to be considered.

Applicants are required to demonstrate that they do not belong to any kind of secret society, cult, are not drug addicts, etc.

Applicants are required to demonstrate that they have not been involved in any embarrassing financial situations.

It is required that applicants be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old.

The minimum acceptable height for male applicants is 1.65 metres, and the minimum acceptable height for female applicants is 1.60 metres.

For male applicants, the chest measurement must be at least 0.87 inches in circumference.
The ability to use computers effectively will be to your advantage.

 

1. GENERAL DUTY: CATEGORY A

Cadre of the I. Inspectorate: Inspector of Corps (IC) CONPASS 07

Requirements:

Applicants need to have a National Certificate of Excellence (NCE) or something that is equivalent in any relevant field, obtained from a recognised educational establishment.

II. Assistant Inspector of Corps (AIC) CONPASS 06 [CONPASS 06]

Requirements:

All applicants are required to have a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant discipline, which can be earned at any accredited polytechnic or institution.

 

2. ASSISTANT CADRE: CATEGORY B RESPONSIBILITIES

Assistant to the I. Corps Instructor (CAII) 04

Requirements:

Applicants are required to have passed the Ordinary Level of the General Certificate of Education (GCE), the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), or another equivalent exam with a maximum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings. These credits must include English and Mathematics.

Corps Assistant III (CA III) CONPASS 03 II. Corps Assistant

 

Requirements:

Applicants must be in possession of a qualification equivalent to a General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level, such as a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) or a National Examination Certificate (NECO), with a minimum of five (5) credits earned in not more than two sittings; these credits must include at least English and Mathematics or a Trade Test Grade III (Artisans, Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricals, Plumbers, Carpenters etc.)

 

3. DRIVERS/MECHANICS/ARTISANS: CATEGORY C

First Assistant in the Corps (CA II) CONPASS 04

 

Requirements:

Candidates are required to have passed the Trade Test Grade II (Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricians etc).

 

Corps Assistant III (CA III) Position 02

Requirements:

All applicants are required to have passed the Trade Test Grade III (Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricians etc).

Take note that obtaining a National Driver’s License is mandatory for anyone interested in driving.
