How to Check Your Results on the JAMB Website
To check your result with Jamb Portal, you should follow these 4 easy steps. You don’t need a scratch card, and it’s free, of course.
Go to https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/ExamSlipPrinting/CheckUTMEResults to check your JAMB score.
Fill in your JAMB Registration Number or Email Address in the column that asks for it.
Select “Check My Results.”
If your answer is ready, the portal will load it for you.
How to Use SMS to Check JAMB Result
To check your result send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line. The result, would be replied as an SMS shortly after.
How to find out your UTME score
To check your result, send RESULT as an SMS to 55019 from the same phone number you used to sign up. Your line must have at least N50 in credit. The answer would come back soon after as an SMS.
Things You Should Know About the JAMB Result 2023
Here are some of the answers you can expect:
If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, he will get a message that says, “This phone number was not used for registration.”
A candidate who gets a score will get a message that says, “Dear Mr./Miss. X, your score is… (and more information will be given)
If a result is held back, the candidate will get a message that says “Result Held Back.”
If a candidate is in the group that gets the benefit of the doubt, they will get a message that says, “Your result is being held until you upload the clarifications/documents we need from you.”

If a candidate wasn’t there, they would get the message “CANDIDATE ABSENT.”
A candidate who was NOT PRESENT AND HAD NO REGISTRATION NUMBER WILL ALSO BE INFORMED OF THIS.
“Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who got into the exam room without permission.
