Exam preparation without reference to the Auto Mechanical Work syllabus is equivalent to visiting a farm without your farm equipment. You won’t be effective in the end.

WAEC Auto Mechanical Work
Papers 1, 2, and 3 are the three required papers that must all be taken. Papers 1 and 2 must be taken together as a composite paper in one session.
Paper 1: There will be forty multiple-choice objective questions in this section, and you will have 45 minutes to complete them all for 40 points.
Paper 2 will include two portions, A and B, which must be completed in two hours and fifteen minutes for a total of 80 points.
Section A: This will include 10 brief, structured questions that you have 30 minutes to answer for 20 points.
Five essay questions will make up Section B. Candidates must respond to any four questions in 1 hour and 45 minutes to receive 60 points.
Paper 3: This practical test will last for two and a half hours. There will be two required questions totaling 80 marks.
Schools must receive a list of required materials at least two weeks before the test date so that they can purchase the necessary supplies and make any necessary preparations.
Alternative to Practical
In the alternative, the Council may consider assessing candidates’ level of theoretical proficiency with the practical skills outlined in the syllabus in the case that materials for the real practical test cannot be obtained.
There will be two sets of mandatory questions for this alternate test, which must be answered in 112 hours for a total of 80 points.
