  6. Appreciating the dignity of labour;
  7. The selection, use and maintenance of sewing equipment;
  8.  Selection of appropriate clothing for all occasions and figure types;
  9. Pattern making and freehand cutting.

Examination Scheme

Papers 1, 2, and 3 are the three required papers, all of which must be taken. A composite paper consisting of Papers 1 and 2 must be completed in one sitting.

Paper 1 consists of forty multiple-choice questions that must be answered in 40 minutes for a total of 40 points.

Paper 2 consists of five brief essay questions, with applicants having 45 minutes to respond to four of them for 40 points.

This paper will serve as a practical work test. There will be four brief, structured questions in it. Candidates will have 40 minutes to complete all of the questions for 40 points.
